We partner with a lot of other rescuers across the United
States and sometimes over the borders. A
few months back we were able to help a Dallas group bring one of their own
home. Little Emmitt had been adopted
from them many years ago and ended up in a kill shelter in Junction City,
KS. We had to fight to keep this little
one alive because a local vet wanted to euthanize him...NOT on our watch! Emmitt has since been adopted by his foster
family and is doing great.
We work with a wonderful pug rescue group in Norman,
OK. A few months back we helped with a
hoarding/breeding situation. There were
so many in need, but the group could only get 5 out of there and Rufus was one
of those lucky ones. He came into our
group and was immediately adopted into a loving family.
a rescue friend waited in a shady part of town for a man to show up with a
little pug in need. Thankfully
everything went down as planned and Blossom is hanging with us in SoCal. She has been adopted by a young lady on the
east coast and will be heading that way shortly.
